Dreads (again)

So, I loaded a pic of my dreads into my profile, but I had to make it avatar sized for this site to allow it. :confused:
I thought I had seen larger profile pics, and I don't have the ability to edit it on my puter to make it workable, so that'll have to do for now (I'm getting vertigo from too much scrolling). :(
BUT, I have been combing them out for the past two days, because they ITCH!!!!!!!! In order for them to look nice, they need to be waxed- I am supposed to be able to leave them alone for about 5 days, with wax on them. It took 3 days to get them all done, and I HAD to wash my hair- it was itchy. Then they needed a bit more work, so I didn't wax them. Then I HAD to wash my hair again cause the itching was driving me nuts!!!!! they don't itch for about a day after I wash my hair, but MAN- after that forget about it- it just got worse and worse. (and I do NOT have lice, or dandruff LOL) I can NOT, not wash my hair at least every two days with the dreads, no way. I do NOT have the time to sit here and re-wax each one every 2 days- my life will NOT revolve around my hair- for any amount of time (except while I was dreading it and now while I'm undreading it). So, that was very short lived, but now I know. :cool:

Do you have a photobucket account? Upload it there in it's full size format. You can just copy the second code (direct link), come back here and click the little mountain picture in the reply-to box and it will appear full size in your post. :)

No kidding short lived. I can't figure out what would cause the uncontrollable itching. Do you have any idea? They looked really fun. Maybe try again in summer, when there is more humidity? Oh, but then, you'd be sweaty...and probably feel more in need of a hair wash...and the waxing. I never knew they required so much work. Sounds like more trouble than plain old hair.
