Calling all Lindas on the board -- LINDA convention

I count at least 12 Lindas from the membership list on this board. There may be some that don't use their first name, Linda, in their board names. Did you know there's a LINDA Club? The club has held a LINDA convention every year for the past 20 years, and this year's convention is in Omaha, Nebraska. They print name badges for the convention and they all say "Hi, my name is LINDA." It's a scream.

Linda was a very popular name in the 50's because of the movie star Linda Darnell and because of a song about a girl named Linda -- "When I go to sleep, I never count sheep. I count all the charms about Linda. And lately it seems, in all of my dreams, I walk with my arms about Linda." When I was practicing law, a client of mine gifted me with a recording of the song after we won a big damage award on a contract lawsuit. Boy was I embarrassed!!!!!!!! Never saw that one coming. He played the song for me at a party my law firm held for the client's company after the damage award was announced. I was the only female partner in the firm at the time, and my partners really enjoyed my mortification.

I'm a Linda! Thanks for the information. I can't make the convention but got quite a chuckle out of knowing there is a conventions for people named Linda.:D
