I have two sports nuts, one the stats end and the other the physical aspect. I would love to incorporate sports into some of our studies. Any suggestions?

That's a great idea! :001_smile:
The closest I have come is to check out books from the library, searching on sports and physics or science and sports. There are a number of experiment books that focus on the physics or science of sports.
I am hoping to direct ds to do a year long study on the science of sports for 9th grade science. We're still a few years away though.
A quick search turned these up:

"Diamond Notes (http://www.sonlight.com/RL67.html)" from Sonlight teaches how to write a paragraph using baseball. I haven't used it, but a friend did it with her 10yo boy (slight learning challenges, huge baseball fan), and they loved it.
