My mom just moved there and is looking for a church. She's on the conservative end of the theological spectrum, but not terribly picky about which kind of theologically conservative church she goes to. She and my dad are . . . um, less open? politically, however, and would not feel at home in a staunchly liberal church.
Maybe someplace between rock band and organ, as far as worship?
Someplace where the pastor might remember her name from time to time? Not a mega-church (or even a mini-mega-church), but not a micro-church either?
Any help?
(Please promise me you won't tell anyone I gave such lame qualifications for an "acceptable" church. I write articles against people who do such things. :o But she didn't go anywhere the whole time she was in DC, and I'd rather she church-shop and find something than not church-shop and not go anywhere.)
