Should I tie up the other loose ends and then do SOTW?

How about reading? I am sure your dd is reading, but just wanted to make sure.
If you are doing R&S, you don't need the FLL.
Are you doing the writing from R&S or just doing it orally?
How is her handwriting? Some kids still need work on it and others don't.
Personally, I don't start spelling until later but many do. We use copywork for writing and spelling.
I'd wait until other things are done before starting SOTW.

Looks pretty good. I would pick either FLL OR R&S--I think both is overkill.
You might consider adding in handwriting.
I would definitely add in some sort of literature or read-aloud. This does not have to be some big official curriculum--just read great books together.

Sounds good--what I'd do--
Wait on SOTW until election is over,
then read a section and have your child tell it back to you, to finish a chapter a week, if you can. (Don't be afraid to skip a few chapters or go thru them more quickly--conversely, don't be afraid to linger a little.) Pick a sentence or two for her to copy. Have her draw a picture at the top of the page (use the paper with the lines on the bottom and the blank space on top. You can find it
here (http://donnayoung.org/penmanship/blank-top-paper.htm). If drawing isn't a thrill, just go to yahoo images and pick a picture that goes with your chapter, print it and glue it on.) Use the AG for fun activities--if she makes something or does an experiential lesson, take a photo and make a page with it--have her tell you a sentence about it, copying what you write out on a white board or other surface.
I like Spelling Workout a lot. I also LOVE Adventures in Phonics--challenging but thorough. I did both. The lines are small in AiP C--check the content to see if B or C meets your child's needs.
Saxon 2 is easy for some, just right for others. DO THE MEETING. It sets up the rest of the curriculum. Try not to skip it--maybe a little here or there, but it is IMPORTANT.
Sounds like you are doing fine.

Just start SOTW when you are done with the other stuff and read through it until the end of the year. Keep in mind that the main reason for doing history and science at this age is to develop an interest in the subject. They are not going to remember much of it so don't worry about that, just have fun.
If you are using Rod and Staff you don't need FLL but if you have it you might flip though it to see how they teach narration and that kind of thing. Some of the poems are abridged and most of us like to go online and find the whole thing for our kids to memorize. R&S doesn't include narration and poetry or copywork.
If you want to do some gentle Latin that is great (we do) but don't feel like you have to do it yet. WTM suggests putting it off until 3rd grade.
We love spelling workout. Do you have a handwriting book?

Your plan looks good. The only thing I see missing is maybe reading like the others have mentioned. I also agree with the others in you need to pick either R&S English or FLL. Both are very thorough and a matter of preference. For reading my favorite is Drawn Into the Heart of Reading at www.heartofdakota.com or BJU Reading. There are so many reading options out there though. Again finding what works for you and your child. For spelling I highly recommend All About Spelling. http://www.allaboutspelling.com/miracle We use AAS and my son's reading is coming along better because of it also.

I second the handwriting or copywork. My little 2nd grade son is loving the Memoria Press Copybooks, he copies and then draws the most precious drawings. We're really enjoying Apologia's Astronomy with our 2nd grader. I like the narrations. What about some great reading? My little guy is reading Fifty Famous Stories by James Baldwin and Aesop's Fables. He reads a story a day from each and it is working so well. I love the Ambleside Online books from year 1 for second graders.
Everyone has made great language suggestions.
A real fun thing my little guy is doing is charting the moon. We downloaded a gadget onto our google homepage and it shows the moon's phase everytime you put the homepage up. It has been such fun to watch because the moon rises after midnight now so we cannot go outside. I'm having as much fun as he is keeping watch on the changes. I have a page of circles and he just fills in the circle with the darkness he sees in the picture.
