My son had one last weekend, to the only college he really wants to go to, so it was a bit nerve-wracking. It went well, he thinks. The interviewer made the interview process very routine. He was nice and encouraging, asked what sort of experiences my son had had already in his intended field, said he didn't know anything about homeschooling and asked him why he was taking CC classes, was approving about them especially since when they transfered it would make more room for a minor, asked why this school and not some other, asked about his brother (already at the school), and said that he was going to recommend that the application process proceed (or something encouraging like that). He didn't have any trouble answering the questions because we had warned him about what they might be and he had thought up answers to them already. No surprises. It does once again make me think that this must be much harder for the first-timers, though, the ones who haven't had parents who went to college.

I think my son must be the only student who brought his parents AND his grandparents to the open house. It made me feel like the typical very-close-family, when-you-get-one-of-us-you-get-us-all, homeschoolers GRIN.

Other people must be doing interviews, too. How is it going? Best of luck to everyone!
