I have never done a unit study before, but I think I would like to as a change of pace between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Where is the best place to find short unit studies for K-3 graders? Thanks!

:iagree: If you are looking for short studies, Homeschool Share (http://www.homeschoolshare.com) is GREAT!! There are TONS of literature-based studies as well as topical studies. All for free. You can search by level or topic. The ladies over there have everything indexed pretty good, so if you want to do a certain subject, just check the index. :)

Currclick and The Old Schoolhouse Store have lots of possibilities. Also I think it's quite easy to create a unit study on your own. With the internet and the library you could have a pretty full unit study.

We used Unit Studies quite a bit our first year homeschooling, and this was a favorite resource. Hope you find it useful!

I used the ladybug unit study from this site. I think I paid $4 for it.
