. . . you find yourself buying flowers at the grocery store two days before Valentine's Day and it's for a science experiment!:rolleyes:
I looked on the grocery list and saw "two white long-stemmed carnations" in my DH's handwriting and realized it must be for biology. (He teached biology every Saturday, and I am deeply grateful.)
Oh well, at least we'll have flowers in the house. :p
Editing to clarify: We're not hugely into Valentine's Day, so this doesn't offend me. I just find it amusing.
