This is probably a long shot, but I'll put it out here anyway. :D

My boys are taking an increased interest in Lego Robotics. Oldest DS has a newer, complete NXT set. Second DS has a second hand RCX set that we picked up at a rummage sale. We were recently able to get the missing software, but he only has one motor that sort of works.

They have both asked for more NXT stuff for Christmas, and that is a possibility, but if anyone has any RCX/NXT stuff that they are no longer using, please PM me!!!! Incomplete sets, individual components, etc. are all welcome.

Thanks!
Staci

Also looking for the curriculum that is available through Lego Education.

ONe of the best kits to go w/ the NXT is sold by LEGO EDucation (not LEGO Shop at HOme). It's called Lego Education Resource kit/set. I think it sells for $69 (used to be cheaper). Lots of great parts to go w/ NXT. I would then shop Wal-mart and TJMaxx after Christmas for Technic sets clearanced 50% off or more.

Thanks for the tips! I will check out the resource kit on Lego Education. The main reason for them wanting the extra sets is so they can have multiple bricks and motors, and those can be quite expensive to purchase alone , so just as well buy the whole set.

I have never had much luck with Wal-Mart's clearance (barely marked down) here, but I may have to try TJMaxx. They do already have some extra Technic sets as it is. But always wanting more. :tongue_smilie:
