:DI am able to get an excellent deal on a MFW 1st grade IG, AND I am swapping all of the student materials (new) with someone else, so the whole thing will only cost me $35!!!:hurray::hurray::party::drool:
You can see how excited I am. Anyway, my only concern is that the IG is from 2001. It may not make a difference, but just wondered if anyone out there has used an older one.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW SOON-I"M HOLDING BACK MY PAYMENT!
Yes, I know I've got a problem.:D

Tammi, well, I sure would hate to tell you the wrong thing but I almost 100% positive that you will be fine with the older IG. I have had two different IGs. I'm not sure what the year of publication was on either of them. But, the only difference in them was that one of them had the yellow math pages in the IG and the other did not. The yellow pages themselves were the same. It's just that one IG had them in it and with the other you received the pages separately.

Not sure on the dates, but Two things to look for in the manual that have been updated:
*the "yellow math grid" schedule for the extra math items from the deluxe package (Complete Book of math, Pattern Animals: Puzzles for Pattern Blocks). The rest of the math is in the manual.
*and look near the back of the manual (or ask your seller to look for you) for a list of library books for science and math. Some oldest manuals do not have the literature lists. You'd have to hunt down your own library books if the manual doesn't have those lists.
Not having those things will not affect being able to use the program. It will just mean a little more work and planning on your part.
