Please post your tips for navigating these boards

I am also having a hard time getting used to all of the bells and whistles on this new forum. I can't seem to keep track of threads that I've posted on very well. I also have some favorite moms from the old boards that I miss "hearing" from. (I would often read some of their posts without responding.) Help! Please post your tips for navigating these new boards and keeping track of everything and everyone. (Do I need to have a buddy list for that?) I feel like I'm lost in the crowd now.

I use the "New Posts" function to keep up on new threads. I only go into the specific boards if I want to start a thread.

You can subscribe to threads you've posted in, or just want to follow. When you're looking at the first page of a thread, click "Thread Tools" and then "Subscribe to this thread." The system can send you email updates, or you can check the thread from your User Control Panel.

Can't help with the question about individual users, but I hope the rest helps a bit!
