I'd like to hear how you've incorporated this into your school day - with or without using the text.

Thank you!

I am using it w/o the text right now because we are using Growing with Grammar. When we need to learn or review pronouns, state of being verbs, articles, etc, we put in the cd. It is great for review. It is great to memorize poems you want to that are from the book.

When I used it with the text, we just put in the cd when we reached the topic, or poem in the book. The CD tells you which page number the tack on the CD goes with in the book. It is laid out very nicely.

I originally bought it to supplement FLL 1/2. We listened to it as we got to those lessons. DS also would listen to a fable, then write his own narration of it when first practicing narrating. (He would listen once while drawing his picture, then listen again and write.) Now we have taken a grammar break for the remainder of the year to focus on writing as we are also in between FLL 2 & 3. I have the FLL memory work on their Ipod along with many other education "tunes". We've definitely gotten our money's worth out of it.

I use it to help dc 8 with poetry memorization, and we love the songs to learn pronouns, state of being verbs, helping verbs, etc.

Caution: you'll find yourself singing them over and over again without meaning too - :)
