Charlotte Mason type approach to school, my blood pressure goes down, waaaaay down, we argue less and my kids think that they are not getting any school work done?

Switching gears and toning it down has done wonders for us here as well. Before Oct it was rush, rush, rush and the last three months have been wonderful!

So, tell me what you are doing different? Time your lessons and end it at a certain time rather than do an entire lesson? More breaks? I know some about Charlotte Mason schooling, but why does it feel so differently for your family?

drawing, more science, less workbooky type spelling and vocab, etc.

For whatever reason, we're just so relaxed the last two weeks, but we are doing school. I think....:p
