Wow, I haven't been diaper-free in over 18 yrs. ;) I am looking forward to my 2 yod potty training. But, yes, it is a bittersweet moment. All those milestones.....starting K, turning 16, going off to college.....they all leave me boo-hooing.

I understand the bittersweetness of it. My 2 year old trained early and I realized after it was finished that it was my last time....why did I tear up over never having to change another stinky diaper? I don't know. But I did. But let's look to the future! Just another year and I'll never have to help another child get their panties up or down!

Ah...I was there once. It was lovely. Then went and had another. And then another. I'm trying to get back to diaperless land again... but the 2yo won't get on board quite yet.
