Unsubscribing from Threads

Is there a way to unsubscribe from more than one thread at a time? Or without opening a thread? I have my options set to automatically subscribe to every thread in which I post to make it easier to follow, but don't want to subscribe to them forever.

Go to User Control Panel (CP) >> List Subscriptions

From there, select the checkbox(es) that correspond to the threads you want to delete. Then, at the bottom of your subscription list is a drop-down list that says "Selected Threads." Select "Delete Subscription" and click the Go button.

Thanks! I thought the check boxes were for getting email notification only.
