I've never used them, but Switched on Schoolhouse offers Spanish & French CD-ROM programs.

We're using Tell Me More for French. It includes 3-4 levels with language recognition, spelling etc. They now have it in homeschool version. My guys are 10 and 11 and are able to use it even though it's recommended for older students. It cost more to buy, but it included so many more levels than Rosetta Stone. In the long run it will cost quite a bit less.
It has very high reviews for foreign language software (even higher than RS).

Visual Link Spanish www.spanishprograms.com (http://www.spanishprograms.com) I'm not sure if they have other languages or not.
