What text are you using for American Government?

Starting to think about what we're going to use next year and wondered what others use. I am not looking for an AP course level book, as we may decide to do it as a small class or 10 or so and they all won't be able to do AP level work.
Any other great ideas...pass them on!

Here is what we are using-

ds read Painless American Government as a refresher and watched the two Standard Deviants American Government DVDs

Then he read America Votes! as a refresher and watched the PBS video The Story of Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony.

Now we are watching and discussing Cycles of American Political Thought from The Teaching Company.

I may also have him read selections from Why Americans Hate Politics by EJ Dionne, Jr., but I may stop after the TC lectures. Either way this will be his 1/2 credit of American Govt.

You could use Uncle Eric or Great Source. These two seem to be used often.
