How did you do this week? I am down 2 pounds. Still not drinking enough water though. By the time I realize I need to drink more it's late afternoon and I'm afraid of having to get up all night to use the bathroom! So my goal is to get most of my 64 oz in before 2 pm.

after all my efforts I finally gave in to temptation and had a glorious week of indulgence. Of course the scale shows me heavier this week, but I am ok with that.

I am sitting down tonight to make menu's for next week. It's a tight week here so food is basically chicken or pasta. But next week I want to have dinners planned everyday with lots of veggies!

I am recommitting today. We were on vacation this weekend and I did terribly. I didn't make it to my WW meeting to weigh in.

So far so good today!

I don't remember what I was last week. But, I'm down a total of 12 pounds now. I've been working out every day and being really good watching my food intake. This is the hardest thing I've ever had to do!

Question - is it normal to feel really cold as weight comes off? Oh, and why is it that the only place I really "see" any weight loss is in my CHEST????? (Not that I couldn't stand to lose it - I'd just rather the weight come off my belly!! LOL)

It's frustrating - nobody has noticed yet. My dh loses 5 pounds and everyone asks him if he's losing weight!! Grrrrr . . .

I was freezing all the time and did some research and found tool little fat can cause feeling cold. I am not possible if it worked, but since upping my fat intake( good fats olive oil, nuts and seeds) I don't seem to be as cold.

I met my exercise goal - 5 days.
I met my food goal - track it.
I did not meet my water goal - 1 liter. But it is getting better more often. I guess I didn't get 1 liter in every day, but I did get it in some days.

And I lost weight!
Giving up chocolate for Lent helps too! :)

Going to a friend's house tonight for dinner, I wish I knew what we were having so I knew what portions to "save". White flour at her house always does me in. I'll have to be extra careful. :o

Thank you Jean. I have definately been decreasing my fat intake. But, I still eat eggs, avacado, and nuts daily. I wonder if I should increase it a bit more? I'm just nervous to do that as I really need to keep the momentum going!! KWIM?

I was telling my mom about how cold I've been and she pointed out that I need to hold 2 5 pound bags of sugar to remind myself how much fat I've lost. That has been a really great visual for me! (Especially now that I'm almost up to 3 bags!!) Anyway, I guess as I lose some of my insulation I can expect to be cooler! But I will try upping the fat intake a bit and see what happens.

Thanks!

I'm down about 2 lbs. (Hooray!) Last week was a wash (read weight gain) due to Ms. F and water retention.

I would guess if you are eating avocados, nuts and eggs you re fine. I was tracking my diet in sparkpeople and was eating between 5-10 % a day and now I eat 15-20% and feel better. But it could just be the loss of weight, which is great btw!

Down one pound - which seems little - but I was on a plateau, so any movement downward is exciting!

Go Jen, go Jen!! I got on the scale after Disney and was the same as before I left and I've resisted the temptation to get back on since. I'll weigh in this Saturday and hopefully I'm down a bit. I hear your pain though, I'm also 5'10" and no one ever notices when I lose weight. Even when I lost 30lbs post baby #2 in 3 months!! I guess the blessing of being tall also is not having everyone notice the extra 5 that creeps on! Tell me again what you are doing for exercise again?

Great job Cheryl! You know one year back when I was Catholic I gave up bread for lent! Can you imagine?!! I lost quite a bit of weight even when I didn't need to and I also didn't imagine how hard it would be, it was truly a sacrifice for me. :D

Thanks Angela! That's awesome that you didn't gain at Disney. I did - but just a little. It's nice to "meet" someone else who is as tall as I am!!

For exercise, I've been doing the Walk Away the Pounds Video. I usually do the 2 mile video right after I put the baby down for a nap. The, about 4 times a week I add the one mile in after dinner. I do ramp up the 2 mile now by running in place instead of walking and I add in my own arm movement throughout - even when the video people don't.

Once all the snow melts and there's no more ice on the ground and it's not still DARK at 7 am, I'm going to get up and go running at 7.

You do the Walk Away video too - right?

Oh - I gave up wine for lent. I'm hoping taking away those calories from my diet will help too!!!

How did you do this week?

I haven't had the scale move much in the last six months since I started working out regularly. But my clothes are fitting better and I'm feeling a lot better.
In January I added the Couch to 5K running plan on days when I don't kickbox. This morning was the first day of doing week two. It took me a month to master the week one running. But this morning felt great.

I am down a pound and a half. That is 15 total- so I am slowly making progress. I still haven't added any exercise to my routine and I need to.

Yes I have the walk/jog that I've done before and need to start doing this week, that was my promise after vacation. Sometimes I can't remember what happened yesterday though, I explain loss of brain cells as a side effect of childbirth to make myself feel better. I still feel jetlagged almost from traveling (even if by car!). I want some toned up legs for summer!:D

Two pounds again this week. I have an elliptical maching that should arrive this week, so hopefully I can lose a little faster in the next few weeks.

175/174/130.
Last week I was down 2 lbs, but this week I'm back up one.

I exercised (cardio) 5x last week, so I'm not going to get discouraged. Maybe I'll be down more next week.

I was up 1.8lbs today. But I pretty much went off program the couple of weeks. So today I committed to keeping track of my points.

I started last week so I have the initial bigger weight loss of 4.5 lbs this week. I'm sure it will be far less next week. I'd love to lose about 30 more.
