I made this for my dh this past weekend and he loved it
Chocolate Cherry Dream Cake
Ingredients
Jello Cake
1 pkg White cake mix
1 3 oz Cherry Jello
Topping
1 Envelope Dream Whip
1pkg Chocolate instant pudding mix
1 1/2 cups Cold milk
1 tsp Vanilla
Preheat oven to 350
Dissolve jello in 3/4 cup boiling water
Add 1/2 cup cold water
Set aside at room temperature
Mix and bake cake as diredted on pkg using a 13x9 pan
Cool cake 20-25 minutes
Poke deep holes through top of warm cake (still in pan) with meat fork; spacing holes about 1/2 inch apart
Slowly pour or spoon jello iver cake, amking sure it goes into the holes
Refrigerate while preparing the topping
Topping:
In a chilled, deep bowl, blend and whip Dream Whip, pudding mix, cold milk and vanilla until stiff(3-8 minutes)
Immediately frost cake
Refrigerate cake
Cake can be frozen
You can also play around with the flavors of the cake, jello and pudding to find a different combination you like, this is just our favorite.
