Twister Hopscotch! I found it at Wal-Mart this week for ~$20, and it has a bunch of flexible colored rings you hook into a path. The rings are soft, so it can be setup inside on carpeting. Then there is a spinner, and you can create your own paths/rules to hop along the path. It was a great kinesthetic activity for my younger ones this morning, and my 2.5yo even played in the rings for awhile on his own while I worked with the other kids in the same room.

I'm also envisioning being able to setup the rings for him to toss beanbags into, to color sort, etc.

But, mainly, I was happy to find something ACTIVE for my very active child to do inside while I work with the others, because honestly, this is my massive challenge this year!

Hope this helps someone!

Ohh! This looks like a lot of fun for my 3 active little guys. We're in FL, so in the summer it is often way too hot to go outside to play.

Thanks for the link for it on amazon, too! Wooo hoo, only $10! :D

My dd and I play the "old" twister with a twist. We have to hop to one color jump, gallop roll skip or whatever movement she or I can think of. We also put numbers on it and do moving math games where right now she is doing her numbers but we have worked out an addition and subtraction element.
