jibjab is a satire site...I'm pretty sure it's not for real. They look photoshopped to me.

You know that is kind of a relief to me! LOL

At least we are not so far gone as a society to start painting our cats! LOL

I googled painted cats, and found that apparently the pictures come from a book called "Why Paint Cats" and are spoofs done in Photoshop. Sheesh, I even had the calendar of these pictures last year, and thought they were real! I feel really dumb now!

I did see an article in "National Geographic Kids" (my ds10's magazine) on this artist who paints people's hands with these complicated animal designs. Does it matter that it is on people skins instead of cat's fur?!

Yes, I saw that Mungo wrote that. Too funny! I was relieved to see they were fake, honestly. It is hard to imagine folks would do such things to their kitties. :)

My boys thought these were so funny. I'm glad that they are fakes, at the same though, part of me says how cool.....
