DD just joined Keepers of the Faith (Little Keepers) and we go together to the meetings for just "girl time" (it's fun!)
But I feel like DS needs some "mommy and son" time and he thinks it's "cool" that DD has her own club, sash, etc LOL Are there any clubs for moms and boys? It seems Contenders of the Faith and cub scouts are tailored more for dads and sons...
thx :)

Does it have to be a club? I just schedule special one on one mom time with each of my boys. I do things with them that interest them. Find you local story time, Lowers or Home Depot kids building workshops, explore a trail together, go mini golfing, watch a movie, head to the science center, hands on house, or zoo, go to the book story and stop for a treat together, etc.. Betcha he'd think those were pretty cool too.

As far as being a club, no it doesn't have to be - but the idea/thought was spurred by sister having a sash, pins, etc etc - so I was thinking the same concept for him. Also I'd like something that allows him to interact with other boys and make friends. He seems to have only "girl" friends because he sticks so close to sister all the time.
I actually went ahead and ordered him a contenders handbook so he can have his own little book of things to do and accomplish at home with me. Maybe I'll get him his own sash and t-shirt too, but we'll start here.
I'll look more into cub scouts. The couple of troops I've found that even start this young seemed to be a father/son deal, but I"ll keep looking. I am sure I haven't looked hard enough!
thank you!

I would completely agree with this. My DH is not "into" Scouts although he sees the value and fully supports us in our participation. However, it is a wonderful opportunity for me to spend quality time with my sons.
