We are using Writing Tales, but will be starting WWE 2 (when my workbook gets here :glare:). I think they are very similar, so I just want to transition into WWE only. However, I think he needs to do a little more. I don't think I need a whole writing curriculum, but a supplement.
I suppose, now that I've typed this all out, what I'm looking for is something to teach writing creatively-not creative writing.
Any ideas?

We're using WWE. This is our 1st year of narration & dictation, so this is really what my dd needs. I'm going to use workbook 2, but with level 3 guidelines: I'll pick a 2nd dictation exercise from one of the reading passages in addition to the dictation/copywork passage given. And, I dictate part of her day 4 narration back to her.

We are using Writing Trails in Ameican History. When we finish I hope to start IEW.

We are alternating between Writing Tales 2, which we've almost finished, and notebooking (basically paragraph writing) that I come up with for history or science. I like alternating between fiction and original non-fiction writing. When we finish WT2 I think we'll start IEW (undecided).

On the sidebar of my blog, you can download our weekly lesson plans for CW Aesop if you are curious what a week looks like.

We're doing dictation, CW Aesop, and a few writing exercises in R&S every now and then.
