I've already emailed them about it - and was told that they want to wait and see. I think there have been lots of emails regarding things being pinned or stickied and the powers that be want to wait and see what is most used or important (things that keep coming up) before they start pinning requested items.

I'd like to see the introductions post stickied :-) That much information by so many members?

I think the point is that informational posts like that one, which include so many members of the board (I'm not on it, so this is not at all self serving! :rolleyes:) need to land in a place where they can be found easily. I find the search here function a bit tedious and not always effective. Eventually, the blog post would be buried in pages of archives, right? I'm not sure of the difference between sticky and pin, but anything that would keep the post at the top of the first page. Chances are I'm not the only one thinking this.

Peek has a similar reasonable request below regarding the Introductions post. I missed the first week of operation here due to ISP glitches and didn't even know that post existed. Hence, I've not seen it nor contributed to it. Pity. I'm sure my absence has been missed there. :p
