FLL4 Question

OK, I know no one has a copy yet. Any word on the ship date?

But my question is would this be a good choice for a 12 yr old who hasn't had much in the way of grammar and mechanics? We have tried R&S and GWG without much success/understanding and retention.

ALso, what is a good solid selection for mechanics such as comma rules, quotes, etc?

What would one use after FLL4 that is similar but for a higher grade level? I am one that wants hime to work on grammar every year.
