Oops! Sorry, I had a feeling I was thinking of the wrong thing... I guess they do use this for prolonged croup sometimes. The reason it's familiar though is that my MIL has been on it in the past for cancer treatments.

I took it a while ago after losing a baby (long story)... It's a cancer drug, what do you need to know?

I'm taking for an auto immune dx. I have done alright with it, but lately I feel like I have been hit by a truck. I had my lab work done today so I wonder what it looks like. Was curious to know how others reacted with it.

In May we started noticing ds5 acting like he was hurting more and he was more lethargic and we thought we'd have to up his dose at his next doctor's visit. But his white blood count and neutrophils were low, so after a lot of tests (including one that said he was processing the methotrexate properly) they pulled him off and put him on Enbrel. His white counts are back up, but it looks like his red counts are slowly dropping. They aren't 100% positive that it was the methotrexate that caused the low counts yet. He's a boy that likes to buck all the medical data and cause the doctors to scratch their heads .

Anyway, all this to say if it was the methotrexate causing the low blood counts (which it has been known to do), that could have accounted for his lethargy (he appeared to feel like he had been hit by a truck a lot of the time).

Regardless, I hope you find the cause of your hit-by-a-truck-ness soon!
