has anyone used these? I had never heard of them before. PW featured them today. I reserved some from the library. Anyone have any experience with them?

No experience. They did a big ad push during my freshman year of college, but I didn't hear anything about them after that.

You can rent them through the major video rental stores to check it out yourself, I've only seen the French one which could be used upper middle school & high school students.

Many of them are now available online here:

They are silly, so my kids have liked them. I use them as reinforcement for a few of our courses.

Cool link. A few are also available on Netflix. I find them silly, but then again, they are for kids.

We've watched the US Gov't ones on united streaming. They go very fast, so they're more for review or preview than for actual learning, if that makes any sense. I liked them a lot.

Netflix has some of them. We got the human body one - it was really advanced for my kids' ages but they watched it and liked it. The humor is so silly it's almost too silly IMO
