I was searching around and ordered - thanks - a circo punch and the things that go with it. I want to start a student binder for Unit 2 coming up for each dc. What do you include?

I was wondering if I should include writing assignments separate. Also, should I put thinking / accountability questions in and how?
I read that several people do this but was missing a listing. I have UG and D level.

Did you see Karen's notebook?
I don't use TOG so i can't help - but i love her notebooks! LOL!

I don't have a D level, but for my LG/UG notebooks I put dividers into a 3-ring notebook. For each week I include: assignment page (make our own), maps + printout of geography objectives, literature worksheets, and copies of any SOTW Activity Guide pages we're using.

Where could I go to see these? I think that is what I am looking for.

Thanks. That is actually where I got the idea for the Circo punch, etc. that I spent WAY TOO MUCH money on yesterday when I ordered. However, I am looking for which pages are beneficial to include. I plan on putting the ones above but wondering what others to include or anything handy to include. For instance, how should I put Accountability/Thinking questions in?

Here is what I put in mine
*student pages and reading chart
*map
*evaluation
*I have notebooking pages from here (http://www.notebookingpages.com/index.php?page=Free-History-Notebooking-Pages) that I choose ahead of time which lapbooks will go best with each page and print them off and put them in the notebook. I also do their dictation (which has something to do with their TOG studies that week) on these notebooking pages.
*Timeline figures that I have printed off from Homeschooling in the Woods timeline figures.
*Paper for writing assignments and any pre-write/graphic organizers they need. I keep the pre-write, rough draft and final copy in there.
*Pictures of any projects that we have done.
*History questions cut and paste with spaces between for answers.
The reason I like the Circa notebooks is because if I forget something, I can add it later. For example, if I need more room for pictures of projects, I can add it. I also Circa punched a pocket divider where I keep extra lapbook pieces or timeline figures that have been cut out. (You can Circa punch right over things that have been already 3-hole punched and it still works, by the way. This saves a little money not having to buy all their supplies.)
If you look on my blog (Magnum Opus) you can see examples of the notebooking pages I put in our books. I also have a post about the notebooks if you look under the Organization Category. I have borrowed many ideas from Karenciavo, so if you have seen hers, you have the basic idea!

What Mindy said! Seriously, she and Karen have been my inspiration.
if it helps, both my D & R students have commented - independently - about how much more they love the TOG format not that we're in notebooks. It's especially easy for my R daughter to bring her stuff to ballet, to do in between classes.
Enjoy! It's about time for me to get next Unit ready!!!
