My ds5 is very advanced in drawing and art but constantly want to learn to draw in certain ways or do certain art styles. Can anyone recommend a thorough art curriculum that teaches certain drawing skills, art techniques, art styles, and artists. I'm searching for one that is relatively advanced but still suitable for a 5 year old.
thanks

My artsy 6 y/o is really enjoying Art Adventures at Home. This is a three year program, but I'm sure he'll finish it earlier. I like that it uses basic supplies.
He also enjoys Thinker Doodles (they supply half the picture, you draw the other half and add a personal touch) and grid drawings (I made him a template so he can use any picture for this).
I also keep him stocked with a variety of art materials that he can use. His favorites are watercolor crayons, watercolor paints, watercolor paper, sketch books, sketching pencils, basic activity paint and palate to mix his own colors, heavy sulfite paint paper, air dry clay for scultping, Pearler beads (koolstuff4kids has a wonderful selection), washable markers, prismacolor pencils, Klutz paper airplanes, and Ed Emberly's fingerprint book.

my kids didn't like it. Too much appreciation, not very clear how to, and they didn't care for the "projects".
