I'm hoping ds does better on the ACT than on the SAT.
Any truth to the rumor that the ACT is easier--less tricky, for instance?
Any comparison charts where I could plug in or find his SAT score and then a projected ACT score would pop up or be on the chart?

Don't think the ACT is necessarily any easier than the SAT but it does test material learned rather than "reasoning" ability.

This chart is a tad dated but it does the comparison with SAT and ACT. Maybe someone has a more recent version?

The good news is that there is no penalty for wrong answers with ACT BUT it is a longer test and man find that they run out of time during the science part (last). There are some good UTube videos on this, btw:
