Where can I find fertile chick eggs in Northern VA?

I'm trying to locate someone that I can get eggs from and return the chicks to once we are finished with hatching and imprinting. We live in Northern VA. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I would not have them shipped. Ask at the feed stores, or put up an eggs wanted sign there.

Cooperative Extension Office, specifically. They should be able to suggest some farmers you could contact.

Another idea is to go to http://www.localharvest.org, search farms for your area that list pastured eggs, poultry, or whatnot,and contact them via the Local Harvest site.
