I posted this on the high school board and thought I could try here, too...
DD13 is in the second chapter of vol. 2 and is getting burned out from the number of exercises, especially the amount of writing this involves. She is a lefty and not a fast writer.
I would like to make things easier for her and move a little more quickly without losing any substance. In volume 1, I had her do each and every exercise, but I'm thinking of cutting back. Could I have her do half of the exercises without losing anything? Or have her do half the drill-type exercises of labeling person, tense, etc. but ALL of the translation ones?
In an ideal world I wouldn't mind slowing down and just doing half and exercise per day, but if I do that I doubt we could finish the book this year and that might set us off course for high school next year.
Or, should I bag it all and go into another program????
