of a high schooler and someone who recently participated in a conversation on the high school board about this very thing.......I think this is a great article and falls in line with my own thinking and my approach to homeschooling over the years.

Yes it is hard when we are surrounded by "doers" all around.....but what I remind myself is that we are "doers" too.......just doers of different things........family time, walking through the woods, reading, relaxing, being a kid.........

In a world where people have to be reminded to relax, take days off, take a vacation........I think we send our kids an excellent message when we teach them that there is balance in life........work AND play are of equal importance.

God rested on the seventh day.....
