tags?

just noticed the sticky about offensive tags. what on earth is an tag?

Look just below my post, and you'll see a long box - top left corner says 'tags', top right corner says 'edit tags'. Inside are the tags for your post. If you click on 'edit tags' you can add a tag to the post. I added the tag 'tag question' to your post. On the forum home page, below the list of forums, is a box listing all the tags, or maybe just the most popular ones, I'm not sure. So if you want to look for all the posts about Latin or hair (a popular one) or buying a new car, you could click on that and all the posts that have beed tagged with that word will appear.
