Has anyone bought clothes from VS?

I'm starting to plan out my spring/summer wardrobe since it seems silly to buy winter clothing now and I've got some birthday money coming.

Victoria Secret has shorts and what I like is that that they have different leg lengths and waist lengths and they tell you what they are. But are VS clothes totally cheesy or are they made decently?

Any other suggestions for great summer clothes for an almost - gasp! - 39-year-old with great legs but a 39-year-old face? :eek:

It's been several years, but I used to buy VS Country clothes all the time. They were very well made, and they were some of my favorite clothes.

I only stopped buying them because I stopped receiving catalogs when I moved.

Before buying anything from them online, I would enquire about the state of their distribution system. They moved to a new facility at around the time I put in my order and the fulfillment was a mess: things arrived, didn't arrive, were cancelled, reinstated, the wrong things shipped.... I never managed to sort it all out. I just threw up my hands and wrote it off.

The clothes are variable in quality, I think. Tops made of jersey are of good quality. Things made of rib tend to stretch out and pill.

I used to shop their catalogs a LOT, and their clothes always lasted a long time for me, they were well made.

I got a gift certificate to VS once. I didn't even know they sold clothes! I didn't need any of the other "stuff" they sold, so I bought a skirt and sweater. It was my absolute favorite outfit!! The quality seemed good and it lasted a long time. I finally donated it because it just wasn't my style anymore.

VS has cute clothes which are decently made. For the price, you get quality clothing. They tend to last longer than the style!
hmmm...maybe time to online shop again :)
