How are you North Carolina folks doing? I ask because I just visited my daughter's ex-fiance's facebook (we are all still friends) and he has posted pictures of all the gas stations in his community that are out of fuel.
A picture paints a thousand words and all that jazz!

We are ok where I am, but I have heard that Charlotte is suffering. The bad thing is, I really need gas, but don't want to contribute to a problem. So I am putting off filling up.

Dd's school in Asheville warned us to make sure we had a full tank before getting to town on Friday. Yikes.
People are coming over here over the mountain from NC to Erwin TN to fill up.

Asheville closed lots of stuff at the end of the week - AB Tech, Nature Center, etc., or so I hear from other homeschoolers. Guys from my dh's company that work in that area are texting each other as they find it.
My dh has been to the Charlotte area almost every day this week and not 1 time did he see any gas at all... He did get some in Spartanburg for $3.75 on Thursday though which is what most of the Charlotte guys are doing.
We have gas in here in Rutherford County but the wait is SO long. 3 stations are getting it regularly but it's a 45 minute or longer wait. I'm almost out but just couldn't bear to waste the morning in a line. On the other hand, Shelby NC, just 20 miles away, seemed to have none at all this AM. Ouch.
I hope it gets better fast!

I thankfully had filled up both our vehicles on Wed. The next day the station I filled up at had no gas. Dh has topped the van off twice since then - which is supposed to be part of the problem, but we are 20 miles one way from dh's job and he goes there every day and he can't miss work.

We filled up last night at Costco, and they were out of Premium but seemed to have plenty of Regular. On the route we took I didn't see any stations closed, but I did see several with long lines at the pumps. The town nearest us has had shortages this week.
(I'm in the Triad, BTW)
