I am going to be scheduled for one due to a horrible case of Supraventricular Tachycardia. Just standing sends my pulse to 200.
I am otherwise a very healthy person, weight is fine, and I have no other health conditions.

for the same reasons you are. I am also in the medical field so have some knowledge of this process. Did you have some specific questions about the procedure?

Everything went great for him. He got out of the hospital two days after the procedure and was feeling great about a week afterwards. He has not had a problem with the rapid heart beat since then. Good luck

My dad had this done. It helped him a great deal. I don't think it was anything major with recovery either. He was back to normal fairly quickly. He does have to take some medication for his now though. There was more there than could be safely burned away without damage. He may have a 2nd procedure at some point, but it definitely helped!

My dad underwent a successful ablation for erratic rhythms. I believe it is generally a quick, not-too-invasive procedure. It represents amazing technology and we were in awe. Good luck to you - I hope you have an amazing result.

The doctor over ablated and my husband had to get a pacemaker. We knew this was a possibility before the surgery. Feel free to email me and I can ask him any questions. When he has has his PM replaced ( twice so far) it was a very simple surgery.
