Ohio residents - Experience Columbus Days

I thought I would post some information about this in case someone has never heard of it. Each year around Columbus Day, many of the attractions and restaurants in the Columbus area offer excellent discounts for this special weekend. One year we visited COSI during that time; last year we visited the zoo. We have always gone on the Friday and the crowds have not been bad at all.
