Ahem....so...how shallow am I?

My dh goes away on a trip once every year or two. I'm good with that.

What I'm not good about, is the fact that I just "upgraded" our satellite tv service, and now it's not working right. At all.

Is it incredibly shallow that I'm really kind of sad that my tv will not be working over the weekend? Here my dh is gone-I could have *total control* over the remote, and it's going to be the weekend. I was gonna have a late-night tv-fest while dh was gone. :crying: :angry:

That's lame and I totally sympathize. We have a running joke in our house that if something important breaks, it's ALWAYS when dh is travelling. Backed up main line...dh is in Colombia, all the fire alarms beeping randomly, dh is in Mexico, garage door goes off the track, dh is in Chile...

I hope you get your TV working right before the weekend long maraton.
