I'm easily overwhelmed on the widget pages, but I do love a good organizational tool, LOL! Can anyone suggest any widgets that are helpful?
TIA!

Do you mean Bookpedia? If so, I'd suggest LibraryThing (http://www.librarything.com) instead. It's terribly convenient to have the database elsewhere (you can download the db at any time, so you do have a local copy), and I found their entry system to be a breeze. We've done all the kids' books and a few of our books so far.

The library widget is Library Books http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/home_learning/librarybooks.html
I like having 'Stickies" http://www.apple.com/downloads/dashboard/business/macmadnessstickies.html
Looks like I need to explore Widgets more!

I don't have a mac...but per books: I like shelfari (http://www.shelfari.com/) in terms of displaying my books on my blog. To keep track of my personal book shelf, I like library thing, but find it not incredible user friendly.

I use Booxter with my Mac - Calvin keeps track of all the childrens' books.

OK if I were to join and log all my books into this would it be able to tell me which books I have on a topic..... Ex....can I search "US history" and all the books that I own about this topic would come up? Can I make a note about them to tell me where they are located in my house :) (we have to store book shelves everywhere not just in one room) .....
I want to make sure that I understand this right.... I really don't need to interact with people that have the same books as I do but would love to use it as my own personal Library catalog.... Am I understanding this correctly?
Oh and one more thing.... can you print out a wishlist?
Thanks,
Kate:p
Yes, I believe it can do that - I've got my books tagged according to what year in school they're used. You can tag them with whatever you like, though.

I don't believe there's yet a way to search your books using other people's tags (though I just asked in the Site Talk group). New features are being added all the time, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was eventually available if it isn't now. I'll update when I get an answer.

OK, there was a feature called Tag Mirror with which you could accomplish this. It sounds like LT's hardware is not currently sufficient to support this and the feature has been disabled for a few months now. They are hoping to bring it back soon.
