Zune and movies...HELP!

Can one easily download TV shows, movies from DVD's, etc. to the Zune? I was given one as an unexpected gift and thought I might load up on "entertainment candy" to enjoy when stuck in doctors' offices, etc. However, Google seems to indicate that extra software and fancy conversion are needed to put videos on the Zune. Seems odd to me since they presented it as a way to watch videos.... Can anyone advise? Thanks so much!:confused:

I'm looking for a one step option to put DVD's or downloaded videos on a Zune. Loving how it doesn't freeze, like my IPOD did, when using music.
