Remember that even though the format looks totally different, and even though it will take a while to "explore" everything and figure it all out,
we are the same people, experiencing the same things, looking for and receiving the same support from each other. The essence of the Well-Trained Mind boards remains the same - homeschoolers looking for support, friendship, relief, and reassurance .
This board has really been my lifeline for about 3 years now. I lurked for a long time, and only within the last 6 months really started posting whenever I was on the boards. But the things I have learned! The reassurance I have felt! The validation of my "craziness" and wondering if there could possibly be anyone else out there who thought this was important enough to make major lifestyle changes. It's all the same.
Keep that in mind, everyone, it's all still the same!
