I knew it was coming but yet I"m still not ready. He's almost 15 1/2yo and technically we told him not before 16yo. However this is a girl who he's known since they were both 8yo and our families have been friends for years. There was a crush a few years back on my son's part but she went off to public school for 2 years and they didn't stay in touch as often so nothing came of it.
Now she is homeschooling again and they have gotten back in touch, doing things in groups for the last year or so. So, my son asked if they could go to the local pizza place and a movie for Valentine's Day.
After the room stopped spinning I said yes.......but I'm so nervous. I just can't believe we are here already.......have I told him everything he needs to know? Will he even listen to me anymore? What if he gets hurt or rejected? I swear this stinks.........
So I'll drop them off at the pizza place, they'll walk over to the movies and I'll pick them up after.........how bad can it be........right?:o
