My mother had a mastectomy today and it went well. I'm asking for prayer that she will recover quickly, especially since she has type 2 diabetes. Also, she had a PET scan 2 days ago that has shown problems in lymph nodes 2 other places. They are deep in her body, so they are going to take a chip of bone and bone marrow on Oct. 2nd. Please pray for her healing and protection. She has a very good attitude about all of this. She even gave her surgeon a gag gift based on a conversation they had this week. She says it's all in God' hands.

Amy, I'm praying for your mom now. She sounds like she's got a good attitude, and that is so important!

My mother was supposed to go home today; however, she is having a lot of bleeding. They are going to keep her and watch it. Please pray that this will cease. I appreciate all who are praying! She has some other health issues at play (diabetes, high blood pressure, history of mini strokes, heart condition). Pray that these won't work against her body healing.
