Does anyone else see a drastic change in their kids' behavior when you finally get settled back into school? I have to say, our first two weeks were rough but now we are groovin'. School was - dare I say- pleasant today! So much so, I am going to take advantage of it and do school tomorrow even though we are supposed to take fridays off. I don't want to break our stride. DC even got up early Wed to start school on their own:w00t:. And - here's the kicker, they WANT to read in their beds at night and not just to stay up late. The 4y/o actually let me sit with him and "do school" (ie read 100 EL for 5 min) and 6 y/o dd is begging me to do logic workbook with her for "fun".
Also, all dc have been especially cooperative with chores and responsive to discipline. Who's dc are these?
Have I died and gone to heaven or am I just dreaming???
Or, maybe all the good advice I've gotten here is actually sinking in!
