Anyone use Spielvogel Music CD?

I am using Western Civilization for Middle Ages (from Christ through the Reformation) this year, and have been attracted by the sound of a CD that will give us the music referred to in the text. I don't know what music is referred to in the text, but I know when I read about music, I always wish I could hear it. Has anyone use this? If so, does it play little snippets, or whole pieces of music? How much of it is relevant to the history before 1700?

Oh, that sounds fun! We used Great Courses to hear music from the middle ages, but it was a little dry.
