How does Blogger make money?

My dh asked me this today.

They certainly don't make any money off my blog, and I know there are thousands of other bloggers out there who use their site for free.

How do they do it?

Google's adsense to the site.

I have a wordpress blog before (not a personal blog, though -- see my sig below) and I have a amazon.com link on my site that I'll get commissions on if anyone buys through it. I'm not sure if blogger allows that or not.

Adding google ads is one way. Google bought blogger. Also, you can pay for advanced blogger features. Or at least that's how it was when I kept a blog. It could all be different now.
