I heard this poem today on the Writer's Almanac (http://writersalmanac.publicradio.org/). I thought it fitting given the recent threads about teen clothing.

That's a good one, but I bet Garrison Keillor could make it sound horrid:D I used to think he only chose really bad poetry for his show, and then I heard him read some classic poem that I love. I can't remember what it was now, but I never want to hear him read it again and risk it being ruined forever.

Pretty sad story it tells, but it tells it well (says the mom with no girls)

What fascinated me when I heard the Writer's Almanac this morning was the tidbit on H.A. Rey--I had no idea that he escaped from Paris as Hitler's army was rolling in. If you scroll past the poem, you can read about Rey's dramatic story--and the birth of Curious George.
Very interesting.
