We have power and survived.

Ike has left it's mark here in Houston, there are many still without power. I consider myself very lucky we got our power around 10 AM. We have lost lots but we are all alive and no worse for the ware. I will post pictures later in my blog but for right now I am just relaxing after earning about 10 blisters on my hands from raking and sawing. Not sure where the Mikes is but I sure need one. I hope to hear from others soon but like I said most are still without power. Thank you for keeping the Gulf Coast in your thoughts and prayers.

How fortunate for you to get power back so soon! We still have 39k in NW LA without power. Luckily, I'm not one of them.:001_smile:
