Bright Beginnings is a user-friendly "how-to" manual for parents who would like to teach their children at home. It is designed for children 4-6 years of age, so it can be used for preschool and / or Kindergarten. The program helps children grasp important concepts and skills such as letters, shapes, numbers, colors, gross and fine motor coordination, listening, visual discrimination, classifying and much more. Character training and Bible knowledge is interwoven through the curriculum, creating a balanced program both academically and spiritually. All of this accomplished using a variety of methods that will delight as well as challenge your child.
For your convenience, Bright Beginnings is divided into 2 separate books:
Book 1 contains 144 Daily Lesson Plans that are the foundation of the program. Complete lessons for the following core subjects are found on the Daily Lesson Plan: Bible; Language; Math; Character Building (odd-day lessons); Health, Safety and Manners (even-day lessons); and Memory Verse.
Book 2 contains Appendix subjects, which can be done in any order. These subjects include God's World; Physical Education; Art (odd-day lessons); Music (even-day lessons); and Snack.
